helllo everyone,
i have issue
there are n number of BOUSER with their respective unit_id
whenever the BOUSER login with his name he should get data corresponding to his unit_id only,
I just tried by creating a table with user_name and unit_id
and tried to use @variable, when BOUSER enter his/her username
it should connect to unit_id and should acces the rights given to the BOUSER.

This is called ROW LEVEL SECURITY in 6.5 and XI…
… and there is another option in BO XI R2 with which you can manage this using PROFILE’s.
Make sure you add the security table in the universe and join with the other dimensions tables(s) on which you want to apply security.
In 6.5 and lower versions, add a condition on the universe in Supervisor.
In XI R2, you can add similar condition in the Designer itself.
