I think i have misunderstood the purpose of the ‘Extract from datetime’ setting in the extractor source.
I am testing delta loads at the moment and I have a duplicate key error on one of my tables. I fixed the problem, but have been unable to re-fetch the delta that caused the error.
In my job, the value for this field is populated via a variable, which is set at start time of the job to sysdate()-1. I have tried manually specifying various datetimes to try and re-fetch the delta, but I either get no data, or the error:
‘Extractor: No extraction exists prior to the recovery date of <20120603101008>.’
Do I need to know the exact second the delta was fetched ? What am I doing wrong here ?
