How to get version or revision no in IDT

Hello,

How to get version no in IDT,I am using XI 4.1 and not getting the version no in IDT.

To get the version, click on the Help menu, and choose About.

I have a similar question but am looking for the universe version, not the software patch level.

In Universe designer under parameters -> Summary you can see the date modified and universe revision number. Is there a similar screen in the IDT?

if you go to the business layer and click on summary under properties that is the closest but they took out the revision information. only way i could figure out how to get the info is to find the universe in cmc and look at properties to get the last revised date. to get the revision number start a new web intelligence document, select universe as source, when universe list appears it will tell you the revision number.

@erik.stenson Thanks, I think that answers my question. I also noticed the revision number when creating a WebI report.

well -isn’t it odd not to know in IDT which Revision you are working on?
IDT is already a Tohuwabohu and you don’t get the Version of your universe? I would like to check this on Idea place - but it’s not “working” today - so no luck here either…

Version: 4.2 Support Pack 4

if you mouseover the repository ressources - you get a temp popup - difficult to screenshot

presenting: tada… the Revision number (überarbeitet in german)!

in IDT if you go to menubar and goto help and see about, you will get the present version of the universe which you are working
