How to generate stats for performance monitor

Hi,

I run my job with the collect stats for monitoring and collect stats for optimiszation both ticked. After the job finishes, I try to go in to the performance monitor from the console, it was empty… with message at the top “The performance monitor is not available for this job”

Can anybody tell me what I have missed?

Can you check the contents of the AL_STATISTICS table to see if some content is stored there that relates to this job?

No there isn’t.

Data in al_statistics is quite old, they all have START_TIME values back in Jan 2011.

Is it possible you modified the DS\bin\DSConfig.txt file once, I believe to remember there is a global flag to turn off all statistic collection.

If you did that, you should also check why you did it and if that reason is still valid.

I was not the one to setup the server. The person set them up had left.

I took over recently…

I will check the ds config file and with the support team
