How to force a JobServerChild to process only 1 job

In BOE XIR2 we used the -type switch wtih the outproc setting in the command lines of our servers in order to keep our system cleaned up. This caused each job to be spawned out in it’s own JobServerChild process.

Does any one know if this switch is still valid with BOE XI3.1? It isn’t listed in the command lines section of the Administrator’s Guide but I know Business Objects doesn’t list everything in the published documentation.

If the switch is no longer valid, would setting the Maximum Lifetime Jobs Per Child property of the Crystal Reports Processing Server accomplish the same thing?

What about other job servers?

It definitely works for the Adaptive Job Server.
I added -type OUTPROC in the command line parameters to fix this issue :
Schedule of a Web Intelligence document (format : xls or pdf - destination : email) fails with error message : $Proxy0 (or $Proxy1)
