How to find Document ID in Webi?

Hi Gurus,

I havea very basic question, please tell me how to get the Web I Document Id,in 6.5 it was easy and availabe in the properties section, but I am not able to figure out to see it in Webi interface for XI version.

Any help would be appreciated.

The easy way to find the document id is from CMS. If you are linking a document, you do not need a document id. you can use the document name. you can also find the document id is by moving the mouse over to the document name. it will give the id on the status bar. most of the times, it will be difficult to get by this method. CMS is the right place. Thanks.

Hi,
I did check in CMS , the problem is when i go to document properties this is the filename that I get :-
frs://Input/a_108/044/000/11372/cdz93051dfea2dae103.wid
now which one is the document id in this?

I am not able to figure out if there is anyother place where I can find this doc id.

Let me know
Any kind of help will be appreciated.

Hi Tanuja,

Please do a search before you post

In your case 11372 will be your doc id

I did the search and did go over the things but there were so many posts and so many different things about linking and etc that I was not able to find what I wanted.
