How to define or make a join left outer join in Universe

I have two 3 tables tableA,B and C Table A and Table B join is Inner but I want to make the join from Table B and C left outer join. How do i need to set this cardinality?. THanks so much. I am using XI r2

The cardinality is largely irrelevant. But, if you look just above where you set cardinality, there is a little checkbox below the listing of the fields for each table, called “Outer Join.” Just tick this on for whichever table you want to have the outer join.

Thanks you so much, that area where outer is present it has been greyed out. Do I need to change any settings?
