Environment: Crystal Reports 2008 on Oracle database
Data is made to display in a descriptive manner in a report field using formula. Now the requirement is to have a dynamic prompt field on the report field having formula.
For example,
Database data<----------------------->Report field data
PHIT001<------------------------------->Pharma Italy
PHCA031<------------------------------->Pharma Canada
The requirement is to create a prompt on the report field which is showing the descriptive data and the prompt values should appear in description only to filter records based on their selection.
i.e., essentially the parameter should decode to database data and then filter it out.
Please let us know if anyone has any pointers to solve this requirement.
