How to check if SIA is running on Linux server

Hello All -

I am trying to upgrade IPS. In the upgrade guide its mentioned that following are required for update :

Server Intelligence Agent (SIA)
Central Management Server (CMS)
Input and Output File Repository Servers (FRS)
CMS system database

I can see CMS and Input/Output FRS running in CMC. I have confirmed that CMS system database is up.

How can I check if SIA is running ? Also if its not running then how can I bring it up ?

Thanks !!

I could be wrong but I thought that if the SIA wasn’t running you couldn’t log into the CMS.

It turns out that these so no way to check SIA on Linux server. If CMC is up that means SIA is running.

Hi Mayank,
In the CMC, you should look under “Servers” and you will find the SIA under “Nodes” here.
