How to change the reference destination of repository

Hi,
Sorry but this wierd question.
How to change the reference destination of repository on BODS 4.2 management console.

You don’t.

Repository database details are kept in the BO IPS/BIP Central Management Console (CMC). Which probably explains why you couldn’t find anything remotely useful in the SAP Data Services Management Console.

If the schema/database a repository resides in moves to a different database server then the way to handle that is to disconnect the repository from the job server, management console and the IPC and then add it back using the connection information for the new location.

This works much better when you do the disconnect while the repository still exists on the old database server. The job server doesn’t like to disconnect from a repository that it can no longer connect to. If this happens, have the DBA recreate the repository schema, create a repository using Repo Manager and then do the disconnect. Then have the DBA delete the schema.
