how to change the date format in the prompt..

hi,
Could anybody please tell me how to change the date format of the prompt likeby default BO is showing dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss format in the date prompt. i want to truncate hh:mm:ss while picking the date from the date picker in the prompt in XIR2.

The forum states about thick client report.

Still my problem is not resolved. my report is thin client report(webi report). I want to restrict the timestamp part.

Hope anybody find any solution for that…

The topic linked covered both Deski and Webi, please read the entire thing. Bottom line: this is the way it works. Bug SAP to fix it, I know we have for years.

even though i am changing the objects format at designer level. In the webi report when i am picking date, it is including the timestamp part.

any other solution or it seems to be a bug.

As I have said, that’s the way it works. It’s not a bug, it’s working as expected. Not as desired, maybe, but as expected.
