How to change connection details of crystal report.

Hi ,
I want to change the connection details of a report. There will be a single report always, buut will be fired on different databases like, MS-access, Oracle etc. All the database stores the same format of table structure with different data.

     Your help will be appreciate.

Hi

Go To Database Tab in Menubar and select Set Location Tab then select Select Location. Open new window select your table and then click Done.

Hi,
I’m trying to change the connection information for my report via the set datasource location. I recieve following error msg!

Data Object cannot be opened/accessed
unknown database connector Error
some tables could not be replaced, as no match was found in the new data source. Please verify the table required for any unmodified tables

Currently report is pointing to Dev server and now i want it run against the production server.

Hi,

  1. Create a new DSN pointing to the destination datasource
  2. Then, do the Set Datasource Location to update the existing datasource with the new one and let me know the result
