How to avoid Time part in Date Prompts

I am using a Date filed in the prompt and in XI it displays the Calendar control to enter the prompt. When i save it it saves only with date(mm/dd/yyyy). but when every i open the report next time it shows the TIme Component (mm/dd/yyyy h:mm:ss). Is there any way to avoid this.

I have a universe that is used to track Issue Tickets for ATMs. I have a few data objects (Date/Time Ticket Open) and (Date/Time Ticket Closed). Both of these reference fields in a DB2 database and are stored as timestamp. Here is my issue, my users like to query off both of these fields. Hi All, My @prompt is something like : @prompt(‘txt’,‘D’,‘class/object’,mono,free) In infoView (XI rel.2 on oracle db) I see my lov as 01/06/2006 00:00:00 02/06/2006 00:00:00 and so on… I don’t want to view these 00:00:00 (as a timestamp format).
