how to add CHG_CLOSED_DATE to ITSM Universe

I’m new to Universe design and try to add CHG_CLOSED_DATE to ITSM Universe similar to CHG_SUBMIT_DATE but cant find a way to add CHG_CLOSED_DATE to the table. I need this in a new Object for Change Closed Date.
The Closed Date field is a hidden field on CHG_INFRASTRUCTURE_CHANGE.
Please see the screenshots maybe they explain what I mean.

The CHG_CLOSED_DATE I can see if I click on “Tables” but cant chose from “Table 1” if I try to Join CHG_CLOSED_DATE with CHG_INFRASTRUCTURE_CHANGE

I use:
Universe Designer 12.3.0.601
Remedy/ITSM 7.6.0.4 SP4
Oracle 11g

So recap: you can’t find CHG_INFRASTRUCTURE_CHANGE.Closed_date to link to CHG_closed_DATE.date_value?

Did you copy\paste and edited the complex join?
Because that can sometimes also confuse BO.

I’m not sure what you mean with hidden field?
Because if its hidden from you at table\database level you need to talk to the dba.

Yes.

yes, I copy the CHG_submit_date and made CHG_closed_DATE.

The Change Closed Date is hidden on the Change Infrastructure Form not at r´the DB level.

Strange thing is I saved the Universe and in my Report I selected the new Object “Change Closed Date” and it shows the right Date.
But I don’t understand why I cant see when Linking it.

If you can’t see the field in the table, try using refresh tables.
Maybe it will show up then.

But the field is already available to you in the table in the universe itself?
Then its prop. because of the complex linking and using copy paste.
Welcome to the wonders of BO :slight_smile:

Otherwise delete the complex join, look throught the table and see if closed is in there.
Connect to default and then edit the complex statement to that of the submit format.
See if that works.
