How to add alerts to icon component?

I have an xcelsius icon component and my requirement is to display the color depending upon the value/range in the excel sheet. Please help!

Look at the Alerts tab in the properties of the Icon, and depending upon your display value, Alert thresholds, and range values, you will be able to set-up the color dependency. Lookup Xcelsius userguide on google for detail understanding, as this is basic knowledge.

Actually I know it can be done using Icon Alerts. But I am not able to display colors depending upon the range.
Btw, I am using Trail version. Thanks
