How to add a custom number formats for all reports?

Hi All,
I am in need of creating a specific(custom) number format that can be used for all reports; that will save the time for same-number-formatting in all the reports. Any suggestions on how this can be done?

Hi,
Best solution would be to take care of this at the Universe level. So that it will apply to all reports.

What is the format that you want?

Getting back to my question again, lets say i use the following format in most of my reports:
#,##0.00; (#,##0.00).
So i go to all the reports and set this format but that doesn’t make sense. Is there anywhere i can get access to the custom formats so that i can add this to that list so that this format can be used across all reports/documents?
