How can I make one table ignore a global filter?

Here’s the issue…

We use something called Acusend to refresh & distribute reports. When Acusend applies a document filter, it is the equivalent of manually setting a global filter on each & every tab.

I have a multi-tab report for which some of the recipients are regional management. For these regional people I want to filter the report to just their own region. However, there is an exception. For two of the tabs I want them to see all the data. I.e. at a national level. One of these shows totals by region. The other shows national totals by some other dimension. As such I need to ignore the filter on both these tabs.

I have tried using a nofilter() on every cell. The result…?

For the data shown, the values are the correct unfiltered values. However, it would appear that my problems are due to having dimensions in the table too. Only those dimensions relevant to the filtered region are shown. This results in a number of rows not being displayed.

E.g. For the region totals table their should be 8 different regions. However, only the one (filtered) region is displayed. The overall totals, however, are correct and unfiltered.

Does anyone know of a way to make sure that a whole table is unaffected by a global filter?

Many thanks,
Simon

I think you’re better raising a call with Acuma, Simon, given that it’s their product.

Not sure if Dave Grant still works there but he was very clued up on it.
I’ve not used it for a couple of years so my knowledge on that side of things is rusty. Your other option is to develop it in two reports - basically save a copy and reduce the tabs on each accordingly.
