Hiding source webi reports used by Xcelsius

We are using live office functionality to create and use Webi reports as source queries for Xcelsius reporting. However, they are not really for the end user to see/use. We want to make them hidden from view but available to the Xcelsius dashboard.

How have you addressed this need? We have tried putting them in another folder, but we are getting a 26315 error when opening the dashboard and it says it failed to get the document information.

Hi

Just a quick thought.

If the Xcelsius users cannot now see the Folder the WebI documents are in, there’s a good chance that the WebI document have inherited that security. You’ll need override the Folder security and set the security on the WebI documents themselves to enable the Xcelsius users to use the Webi Documents.
