Hiding Details / Summary Report

I think this is not possible. Somebody, please confirm.

I am trying to mimic a Crystal Report which has several hidden and suppressed groups. I think this can be acheived by Folding option in Web-Intelligence XI 3.1.

I am using XI R2 and I tried several work arounds and the closest I can get to is using the combination of Sections and Breaks. I moved the break summary totals to a level above and hid the Break headers and Footers. But the details are still repeating and I see a blank field in the break column. I think I am close…has anybody tried this before?
I am only applying break on one dimension. There are several dimensions in the block.

You cannot literally hide details in WebI R2. Check out Steiper’s discussion on hiding columns. It might give you some ideas on hiding rows.

If this doesn’t help, the only other way I have been able to accomplish this is by using Alerts and making the text and background the same color. However, with Rows, you may end up with far too many detail lines that create way too much white space.

this is a known issue in R2 that is corrected in 3. :hb:

I used XI 3.1 and I think they fixed it in SP2 version. I guess it was not there in original XI 3.1 too.

What is ? The ability to hide rows ? I’m using XI3.1 SP2 and there’s no way of hiding columns, rows etc
