Hiding a universe

Hello,

I want to know if it’s possible to have this case :

make some reports available for refreshing with prompts (no problem here).
hiding universes used for these reports to not allow users to create their own reports.

Is it possible ?

I tried to set rights in different ways but hiding universe seems to make it unavailable for refreshing datas and prompts.

Any ideas ?

to be exact, the universe has to be available for other users.

If I understand the post you talked about there’s no really solution to hide it as I want

True , if you are using 3, or above, use Sebastians link, functionality out of the box, otherwise check mine…

“create and edit queries based on the current universe”

I tried, but not enough, I have to set view and this option.

The reports have prompts with lists of value.

edit : I don’t see my signature, so I work with BO XI 3.1

I tried once again, it worked, thank you.
I did : right = “view on demand”, then put forbidden to “create and edit queries based on the current universe”… works fine !
