can the report tab can be hidden based on prompt value.
when prompt value region = ‘ABC’ then report tab 3 should show
when prompt value region = ‘XYZ’ then report tab 3 should hide
I tried the hide formula with pie chart, legend is not hidden. not sure what I am missing.

What version of Webi are you on?
Can you hide the report tab manually on that version?

BO version is BO4.2 SP7 patch3. I did right click the report tab but there is no option to hide.
Also, in pie chart hide formula is working for the pie chart but the legend is till shown as dot. Hide is working correctly only for table.

In that case, you’ve answered your own question. If you can’t hide the tab normally, you won’t be able to do it with a variable/prompt solution.
Pie charts are terrible in BO imho, I’ve never liked them. I also found that they corrupted more easily than bar charts (no idea why).
