Hide hyperlink object@Designer in WebI

Hi,

I am using BOXIR2 SP2. I know that we cannot hide an object under infoview. In designer we can hide objects but my concern in not only to hide in adhoc reports but also under webi reports . I have tried giving the object level security to restrict the object but it also restricts the users from drilling to detail reports. Is there any way that I can give the users drill down option using the hyperlink object at the same time the hyperlink object is invisible to end users.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Did you guys ever find a solution to this?
I am also trying to find a way to hide a report in a folder.
The detail reports that the hyperlink links to should not be available for users to open and refresh but if I change security then the reports don’t run from the hyperlink either! :hb:
Anyone know of a solution please??
Thanks

I am not able to hide the hyperlink in the WebI, but the work around I did is that at the universe->Hyperlink Object->Format properties->Enabled only the Hyperlink option. So with this, if user drags the object into WebI it shows as hyperlink.

But let me know if you find any solution to hide it from Drill Filters.

Thanks,
CHK
