Help - Record missing from report - Business Objects

Hi

I’m new to Business Objects reporting.

I am creating a new report which has Employee Number and Manager’s Employee Number.

Everyone has a manager apart from the top person (MD).

As a test when i show employee number only in one column the MD appears.

When i drop the manager employee number into the column next to it, the MD disappears.

Both items being pulled from “Current” query filters.

Am i doing something incorrect?

Does it disappear or move to the bottom of the table?
Did you page down to the last page?
Tables have an implicit sort based on the first column, then second column etc

It disappears completely. i exported to excel and searched for the Employee Number and the name. They weren’t found im afraid.
