This seem to be a pretty easy one but I can’t get it working.
I am generating a report with few data points in a table. I need the table border (not the content inside the cells) to be displayed in a specific color otherthan the default one.
I tried changing the border color under the table properties and tried with different patterns as well but with no luck. (The same appears to be for free cells in the report). Can’t I change the border color for a table or a cell?
Any help will be much appreciated as I need to publish this report by tomorrow and do not want to get stuck at this simple aspect
You are talking about Desk-I report right? Did you try this?
Selecting the table -> Format -> Table->Border->Choose the custom color ->Select the presets as Box. The same holds for a cell -> Format Cell -> Border ->…
1.Highlighted the table and selected the “Format table” option (tried both in the format menu as well as the options we get on a right click)
2. Selected border tab
3. Toggled between the presets (Box n None)
4. Selected the color - no go
5. Selected the different styles under this tab - no go
I tried these steps with multiple tables, cells in different reports but still cant get the borders to have desired color. Do you have any other steps to help me out?
Is your view % on 100%? E.g. the thickness of the line cannot be viewed at 100%, DeskI must at 200% to see the difference. Could this be your problem too ?
