grhernandez,

Which version of Webi are you using? Also, does this happen to any report, specific reports, specific time of the day, when they first log in or have they been in Webi for a long time?

The more information you provide the better chances for you to get some help.

Thanks,

Mitra

p.s. have they considered calling during business hours? Sorry, couldn’t resist!

We are using Web Intelligence Rich Client 12.1.0.882 and I believe our InfoView version is 12.1.0.

This message appears to some users only. I have not been able to reproduce this error myself.

I will tell you though, what I have done:

I have checked the rights of all the users, I have checked the rights at the web I application and InfoView level and found nothing in regards to a session.

Thank you for stepping up to help!!

This was really stupid of me. It was the permissions on the”everyone” group for web i. I had assigned it to specific web I groups but these reports are public! All you have to do in case you run into this error is make sure that your audience has full control or whatever advanced permissions they need to the web i application.

Gwen,

I am glad you found your solution and thanks for posting it. It really helps. However, I do have one question for you. I gather that you have not set the “Everyone” group to No Access as recommended (at least as of XIR2 SP2) by Business Objects. May I ask how is that working for you?

Hello Mitra, it is working just as we wanted. Everyone is entitled to operate this information, so we have not encountered any problems with these “public” reports yet. I did not know it was not recommended. Thanks for the tip.
