I am searching for someones advise. We have a very big universe that we maintaining for our company reporting purposes. It is a very well structured universe though - we set up a strog rules to keep it readable over time.
What happened is that when I imported the universe just today, the graphical interpretation of the universe looked completly crazy. All tables are completly out of order. Everything in a mess. It doesn’t look like anything done by a human, it looks like a BO system problem.
The universe meta data seems alright, the associated reports work fine - the issues is with graphical interpretation only. (it is a big problem though it may not seems so - we can’t work with the universe, update and so)
Have anyone seen this problem before? Any advice, please?

I don’t understand this, although the gist of your problem is clear.
If you import the universe from a biar file is it okay? Just out of interest, what happens if you randomly drag tables left, right and centre then use Designer’s feature that automatically orders the tables? Does that look like what you get when you import the universe? If so it’d seem very much as if someone has accidentally pressed that button and then exported.
All that said, I have seen the graphics go crazy on occasion. Sometimes all you need to do is minimise Designer and then maximise it again - it realises its gone bonkers and sorts things out.
I meant a good rules to keep the universe readable for multiple users…but that’s not important.
We unfortunately don’t have a biar file for this universe. It is in fact a QA version of the universe and we have biars for PROD version only.
The problem is that by restoring the universe from PROD we would loose all current universe changes that haven’t made it to PROD yet…so I trying to find a different solution.
Could you please advise which button you mean for automatical ordering of tables (I’d rather say disordering ?
I tried to do some of the things you mentioned to make BO reailze that party is over but no help.
Thanks, yes I tried the effect of this button on another universe and it is exactly it. Do you know how to revert this when the universe was already exported by someone?

Unfortunately, that is not possible. If someone else has a copy of the universe with most of the modifications you may be able to use that. Once the universe structure is modified and saved there is no way to undo it.
