Global Address Cleanse - Quality code issue

Hi,

We have upgraded Data Services 3.2 to Data Services 4.1 and have upgraded our local repos. And after the upgrade, using the Global Address Transform for Australian addresses is resulting in more liberal Quality code assignment for addresses.

For example, an incomplete address like “Randolph street, Chicago, IL”
in DS 3.2, the Quality code would be Q6 where as
in DS 4.1, the Quality code is Q1.
Looks like GAC transform has been very liberal in granting the Q1 or Q2 Quality codes in DS 4.1.

Is there a setting I am missing here?

There are a lot of fixes on the cleansing for BODS 4.1. Or enhancements, but I do not read the release notes that good for DQ.

My suggestion is to look in to the release notes and check on which version you are currently on.

We are currently on Data Services 4.1 Support Package 1 (14.1.1.0) and have looked at the latest release notes of SAP Data Services 4.1 Support Pack 1 Patch 3 and don’t see a mention of the issue or a fix.
