Getting the Difference from Two Date on two different rows

Hello i have audit data like this


Status           Date
New              23 May 2003
Open            25 May 2003
Close            26 May 2003

I wont to work of the differance between the current row and the last rows date, ie to produce this


Status           Date                 Waiting
New              23 May 2003      0
Open            25 May 2003       2
Close            26 May 2003       1

Is there any way of doing this in Business Objects ?

Ben,

Have a look at the function called Previous
This should help.

Make sure when u previous function do not apply any sorts on the table other wise u will get different results.

Try:
Check with IsNull and Previous for the very first row

I have some results

but i need a total amount of time that it was open, but when i sum and do by where i get the wrong answer … any suggestions ?

i.e. i need it to take the values worked out, from the first function and not recalculate.
