Hi Experts,
We are migrating QAAWS from BO XIR to BO 4.0.
When I try to preview results in BO 4 it is giving the following error which was working fine in BO XIR3.
Any ideas please…

Which migration method did you use ? There are 3 options to choose from :

The migration went well. All the QAAWS are working fine.
Only one QAAWS which is expecting more result set is giving this error.
is there any limitation on the QAAWS result set? If so, Please let me know where to modify this as the QAAWS I have is getting more data.

I tried that too. But still no luck. I sthere any restriction on the number of rows returned?
I need to resolve this as soon a spossible. Any ideas please??

Well, yes. What is the universe row restriction set in the UNX file ?
Look at the Business Layer of your UNX (.blx) > Query Options. The default is 5k rows.
In the QaaWS design panel, Under the Options button, there is
another setting that can limit your rows called Max. rows fetched, normally you want this value to be -1, so that the unx controls the row count.
Why do you think QaaWS is not returning all rows ? Is this number > 5k rows ?
Do you have any Ranks set within the QaaWS ?
Max rows can also be determined for Webi and QaaWS by the BOBJ Admin in the CMC. CMC settings override all other settings.
When QaaWS is not returning expected data, one method of troubleshooting is to recreate the exact objects in Webi, then capture the SQL. QaaWS will be producing the exact same SQL.

Hi,
The universe parameters are fine.
I am not able to set -1 in the QAAWS for Max rows fetched option. When i set -1, it is changing to 0.
I want to check in the CMC, Can you please tell me how to set this max rows fetch option for QAAWS in CMC. I need the path. Not able to find the setting.
Appreciate your help.

I do not have access to my 4.0 CMC to tell you the path. I know the CMC setting does exist however, according to the QaaWS user guide.
The fact that you cannot change the QAAWS for Max rows fetched option, probably means that the CMC IS overriding QaaWS and limiting rows.
