4.2/sp5 under Mgt > CMC connections in adminitrator tool

generate password file button isn’t showing. …even when entering all the right the credentials & hitting test or apply the page just goes blank…any insight as to where to configure in CMC would help. thanks.

if you are using IE, then go to Tools -> Internet options, select Advanced, under browsing check the option, display a notification about every script error
if you don’t see any errors, try different browser
also, check for errors in %DS_COMMON_DIR%\log\web_admin.log file on Tomcat server

possibly the defalt CMS and the CMS that you are connecting are not same, can you check if the CMS Server that you are using in the login is same as the CMS Server that is set in Administrator -> Management -> CMS Connection in MC ?

also I’m unable to set CMS Server in Administrator → Management → CMS Connection in MC

I can see tomcat\webapps\dataservices & successfully launch hostname.domain:8080 that displays Apache Tomcat/7.0.55 page

interesting observation is everytime logging in with right uname/pswd to DSMC, it thows a stack trace w/ below & just a mere refresh of the page will display the dashboard page successfully

the following error happens if tomcat is started before sourcing the $LINK_DIR/bin/al_env.sh file
