general question

Hi,

Many times on the list I see references to the ‘DAS Bible’, specific tables in the repository and which fields to look at, etc. Is there a set of BusObj technial manuals that have this information or have you all learned this from hands-on experience? I haven’t seen any of this info in the manuals I have so maybe I am missing something…

Thanks,

Hi Cori:
The DAS bible is a document (may be a set of documents) that is available internally to BusinessObjects. Again, I am not sure if it is available for general release or not. You would have to contact them to get it – to the best of my knowledge, it is not part of the “standard” documentation.

Cori:

Check on the 4.1 distribution cd-rom; you should find the HTML version of the repository tables. It is also available on the web site www.busobj.com. The DAS Bible has not shown up on the web site as of the last time I checked.
