Function Gen_uuid

Has anyone used function gen_uuid () yet?

Or if someone can help me understand a little more on this function?

I am giving a presentation of what’s new with BODS 4.0 and couldnt find a suitable example on where can we implement this function.

I will really appreciate if someone can shed some light on this function usage details.

It is a function like rand() to create a random number but this time in a different format.
