How to go from Platform Server 4.0 SP2 to SP5.
When i deploy the latest patch SBOP BI Platform Servers 4.0 SP05 Patch 4 on top of the current 4.0 SP02 installation it will fail the prerequisites check. Telling that this patch can only be installed on a 4.0 SP5 install.
Any idea what patches is should install first to get to the lates 4.0/4.1 SP5 version?

First, ensure you are on the SP level matching your patch.
E.g. If you want to apply patch 5.3 (= SP 5 Patch 3), you must first ensure that your server is already on SP5, only then can you apply that patch.
In your caes you are tring to apply patch 5.3 (which requires SP5 first) to an SP2 platform.
Solution: First apply SP5, then apply patch 5.3 afterwards.

The update for BO Server to SP5 was succesfull.
But…
During the update of Data Services SP2 to SP5 i got some error messages, see attachment. After the installation i can not run any jobs and the repository status in the CMS states InActive…
I’ve already restarted the server and services multiple times.
Any ideas?
