Hi,
I am using a Business Object 6.5 Desktop reporter and when I click on Edit Query it doesn’t open the query panel and whole business Object screen got freezed.
Can anyone help in this …report is working on other computer and I am able to open it without any error. ?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling BusinessObjects

I have tried this option also but still not able to open the query panel …is there any specifc file or code which needs to be check for proper functioning of this ?

is it only the query panel that you can not open?
How about all other dialog like the data manager?

It’s possible that the Query Panel is shown but it was moved out of the screen so it’s not visible now. Try this resolution from the Reporter FAQs:
Help, my Slice and Dice panel or my Query panel has disappeared.
Press and space. This displays the standard windows menu. Now select Maxsimize and the appropriate window should now be displayed.
If you are using Citrix you may need to edit the registry in order to alleviate the problem. The appropriate key to delete is:
HKEY_USER\Software\Business Objects\BusinessObjects\5.0"UserName"
where “UserName” is the BusinessObjects login of the user encountering the problem. …
