I am using Crystal report 9. In formatting number I can format it as I want and it displays it fine in the preview and print. However when I install my application on my client machine, it ignores all formatting and use the default formatting of the client PC.
This is happening on one of my client only. Others are working fine. What could be the reason

There’s no telling what could be causing this. It could be an OS setting - Crystal 9 has been out of support for over 10 years and was never designed to work with modern operating systems.

We have had an issue in the past that if we did not set the formatting in the Options of Crystal Reports, then in some viewers it would revert to the settings for that particular machine (Windows).
