Forcing user configuration for infoview

I don’t know if this is where this belongs or not but it seems that most posts are here.

I want to force the configuration of Infoview for users with the following requirements

  • I want to force the myinfopage to be the home page
  • I want to force a report into the myinfopage and lock it in a certain position, the report will probably be from thier personal documents
  • User setup may be different from one user to the next

Is there a mechanism to make this changes for users on their behalf from an admin perspective? Can I make it so they cannot alter my settings?

you can do some stuff by editing the profile.txt file <drive>\Business Objects\Server\WebIntelligence 2.5\Storage\user\

I have seen this post and some others but not a lot of details concerning how that file works. Also it seems that most of the really important things I want to do are not possible in that file?
