Hopefully this is possible, I would like to amend our environment so that no matter what SI_OWNER will always appear in the Message body of a scheduled report and do this for all job servers. Basically when de-selecting “Use the Job Server’s defaults” the end user will enter custom parameters, I would like to in the background always append the document owner so the recipients know whom the author of the report is. You might say tell all users to make sure they select or key in %SI_OWNER% !! Well if your reading this and in similar position to myself you know that no one listens to us.
The problem is that we have thousands of reports, maybe hundreds scheduled daily and sent either internally to non BOb users or externally and requests are coming in to our support queue for these reports to also be sent to A and B and C recipients. And because of the custom parameters on the schedule, identifying where report is within Infoview and whom scheduled it/owns it takes a long time to identify. I think this makes sense.
