Following data providers have not been refreshed DMA0007

Hello,
There is a strange situation we are facing.We are trying to refresh two reports from different BO XI3 servers,one has Service pack 2 installed and other doesnt and the report works fine with one which does not have SP2 installed.
The error we get is "the following data providers have not been successfully refreshed DMA0007 error.Its a strange situatiion.Anyone knows of any hot fix or solution.We have tried all connections and universes etc.
