…just looked this morning on SAP site and noticed that FP 1.8 is out today.

Two big bug fixes for us are in there as well

ADAPT01228530
Description:
An extra database connection in the Connection Server Process remains in the Database even if a simple Desktop Intelligence
report is refreshed in 3-Tier mode.

ADAPT01211365
Description:
When Desktop Intelligence 3-tier is waiting to retrieve records for more than 30 minutes, the error “DA0003 Exception: CS, Job
already in use” is displayed even if Timeout Settings are configured to allow 60 minutes.

Do you have any feedback on Fix Pack 1.8? We are thinking of installing it to fix a CORBA issue - did you have any problems? We are currently on Fix Pack 1.6. Thanks. Nicole

we are running 1.8 in our dev env, and have had no problems. It has fixed our “bug”. we did need to install it on both the server and client for it to work. We are implementing in production in mid Sept., but it seems to be working well.
