Finding the source of Query Objects

We have a big problem. We are building out some rather big universes
with classes and subclasses. So somebody opens a query that has 10
objects in it. As far as I can tell there is no way to tell where that
object came from (class/subclass). Is there any way to do this? Help!

Assuming there is not, for the Business Objects developers here is an
enhancement request. You have to know the object id to generate the
SQL. So it seems like a rather minor enhancement to display the
class/subclass hierarchy for any object in the query panel.

Enhancement Request:

Add an option to allow a right mouse click “Show Class” from the query
panel. This will display the associated class/subclass(s)/object in the
Classes and Objects panel.

I also am formally requesting this through the normal channels.

May be this will work until BO comes up with the enhancement request. I
did this before for one of my clients.
Put the class name in front of the object name to identiry which class
the object belongs to.
Good Luck
