Filters in Desktop and Web Intelligence

Hi,
I designed a reports in Desktop Intelligence and web intelligence with a filter with prompt options. but when i run a report in infoview it is not prompting to select the required value. Can some one pl. provide me the solution or advice me shold i enable the filter options or promt options in infoview ?
