Favourites/Personal Folders not visible

Hi Everyone

I am having a problem with the Favourites/Personal folders. For some reason they are not visible for any user, even the Administrator.
I think that I have checked and allowed every possible right in the CMC( settings\folders\user folders\infoview) to make these appear but it has not worked.
Am I missing something? Is it possible to hide the favourites folder somewhere other than by setting rights in the CMC?

Thanks

You probably setup a bad right at settings\folders\user folders\ for the Everyone group.

Thanks for the fast reply.
I am trying to set up a brand new security model so only have one enterprise user (plus the administrator) who is a member of 1 group.
I want the user to be able to see his favourites folder.

I have given the everyone group full control permissions at settings and user folders level and have granted every possible permission for the everyone group on Infoview. Favourites folder is still not there.

I cannot see where the everyone group could inherit a right which prevents access to favourites folder.

Any ideas?

Keep in mind that there are four folder trees witin the XI security model.

You need to setup the security on each folder tree:
Corporate docs
Inboxes
Personal
Temporary storage.

Have a look to the right the user himself has on his folder …

I have checked everything. The user definitely has full control access to the folder and I have assigned maximum rights for this user at every possible level. It makes me suspicious that even the Administrator does not have access to it’s personal folder. I have raised a support case with Business Objects because I am convinced that this is not a setting within the CMC.
Thanks for your help.
