Explorer XI 3.2

Hi,

I checked out Explorer XI 3.1 some weeks ago and thought it was interesting. Now I read about the new features of Explorer XI 3.2 and wanted to try them out. But all I found to download was Explorer XI 3.1 SP1 and SP2. Where can I get Explorer XI 3.2 from?

I think XI 3.1 SP2 is known as XI 3.2 (BOBGurus … correct m if i am wrong) :lol:

That was what I thought first but if I want to create a new information space (with Explorer XI 3.1 SP2) I can’t choose Excel files as data source and there is no “Personalization” tab in the “Create information space”-window.

so what do all the other reader think? Is “Explorer XI 3.2” the same as “Explorer XI 3.1 SP2”

PS:

My Version of Explorer is 12.1.2 Build 108.

Maybe that’s a dumb question but I’m new to BO and a short “It’s XXX” would help me a lot.

hi all, Really stupid question, but where is Explorer on the Sap download site, I cannot find it anywhere??

I usually find most i’m looking for under’Installations and Upgrades - Entry by Application Group’ then SAP Business Object Portfolio.

But i cannot find anything related to explorer or polestar.

Please help!

In SAP Support Portal:

Downloads --> BO Downloads --> Installations&Upgrades --> SBOP EXPLORER

This is where I got my version from…

As far as I can tell through installation guides:

Explorer 3.1 SP1 is for BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 SP1 installations
Explorer 3.1 SP2 (referred to as Explorer 3.2) is for BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 SP2 installations
