Exploratrion View Set - Can you format numbers in a table

Is there any way to format numbers in a view set table? Currently all the numbers appear with no formatting and up to 16 decimal places. These numbers are formatted as currency in Explorer.

I have found a way to change the format of how numeric data is displayed in Explorer when you are in explore mode see instructions below. However, when you save the exploration to a view set, it ignores the formating and the table values show with up to 16 decimal places.

I am thnkng this is a bug in the Explorer product. Has anyone found a solution to change the number format for numbers in a table in an Explorer view set?
