Excelcius issue

Which component I should use to show Alerts as shown below. I tried Scorecard and spreadsheet table but they show Alerts in Columns only, and not in Rows. I can get the Data to display as shown but how to show these colorful Alerts???

Just a thought if you are using Spreadsheet table…

Spreadsheet table shows the exact formatting as it is done in the Excel spreadsheet…Correct? So, Why don’t you put a condition in the Excel spreadsheet itself to show the background color as red depending on your condition?

Let me know if this helps.

Check out the Conditional Formatting option in MS Office Excel 2007, if you use MS Office 2007. And create the condition as needed. Or if you let us know the logic, we can create the formula.

nice suggesion I was going to ask, what is the formula for putting Alert in Excel…?

Home Tab,>conditional Formatting > Manage Rules >New rule and then you can set anyway you want… :+1:

I have the same situation, however, the Spreadsheet component is not showing the way the excel sheet is showing the backfill.
I have used conditional formatting, the excel shows the cell backfill as Green but on the Spreasheet comp it is still white background.
My question is have you tried this and have you seen it worked before?

@ lucy

in your post, it looked like you were trying to upload an image. The image didnt upload. Post your screenshot again.

Also, Ignore the above comments about Excel’s conditional formatting. Excel conditonal formatting is not an option in Xcelsius dashboards. You need to use the Alert option on the component/chart. I think you already know this.

If you post your screenshot, Ill tell you how to set up your file.
