excel fit all columns in one page in print preview mode

Hi,

I have a report which fits fine in A0 mode and user wants the report in excel fornmat and be print friendly(fit all columns in one page).

I dont see an option to enable(fit all columns in one page) the functionality in webi when exporting to excel.

is there a alternate solution to achieve this?

everyttime he gets a new file in excel from webi he would need to set up the page setup in excel to achieve this.

if you need print friendly format use pdf export

Send the Webi output to one Excel file, and have a second (unchanging) Excel file which feeds off that first one (via an External Data link), perhaps? Then the user would just have to refresh the data.

We did something similar via the SDK in XI3.1 - no, I’ve not got the code - but it involved an SDK front end and intercepting a file once it was run.

You may be able to build similar into a .vbs file but anti virus programs don’t like vbs files.
