Is there a way to schedule a report and convert it into Excel? Normally, I would do this with a VB macro, but the version of BO which we are running is on UNIX.
The problem that exists is summary lines do not appear when you try to convert the report through BO. I never had this problem with the VB macro.
Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

Version 6 will allow you to do a Save as Excel without the need for a macro…but I guess you’re on v5 and aren’t about to move just for that?!

Actually we are on 6.1b. The report converts to Excel but it misses summary lines.
If you have InfoView and retreive a report that has summary lines, save it to Excel. The summary lines get left out.
And using InfoView, I’m guessing it works the same for BO UNIX or NT, regardless.
