EXCEL AS A SOURCE FOR WEBI?

Hi I am sure that there is no way to fetch data from Excel in WEBI , but still i thought I should ask once. I have a column in Excel sheet and I want that field in WEBI report. Also i have fields coming from different unvierse. The report is ready only one field (from excel sheet) is remaining, So could someone suggest the best way of implementing this problem. Hi, I created a Excel file in Exccel 2007 and trying to use it as External Source to create report in Web Intelligence Rich Client in XI 3.0, I am getting the error when I try to browse the file. "Unable to create or update Excel Personal Data provider : Cannot Open the workbook (WIS 10872), But when i tried to do the same using Desk top Intelligence it works fine. Any thoughts on this?
