I am triggering a batch file execution on the basis of an event.
The above is working fine.
Question - Can we now report the success of this batch file execution only when it does what it is supposed to do? If yes, how?

I dont know what the script does, but at the end you could generate a FILE that would come up ONLY if the script does what it is supposed to do… and if you are looking to generate a report based on the succesful run of this scripts, you can put this FILE as an event to wait for before the report is scheduled to run…

It is possible to set a program’s execution result to “fail” just like a scheduled report. This KB note provides the details.
