A client of ours is using XI 4.2 sp9 and is unable to access client tools like IDT and Rich Client, which he installed recently. However, he can access and create reports in Infoview. We have checked everything possible ,but still getting the same error. The db version on the client’s system and db server is Oracle 19 c ,whereas on BO server it is 11g. I think that Oracle has backward compatibility so I am not sure what is exactly causing this problem.

the client apps must reach several services (servers) ports… cms, ifrs etc… is that possible?
